Request Technical Assistance

Technical assistance involves communication between a CPD grantee and a technical assistance provider or HUD staff. Depending on the circumstance, technical assistance may include extended communication, a site visit, or long-term assistance from a technical assistance provider.

CDBG Program Assistance

CDBG grantees can submit questions and inquiries on CDBG to their local HUD Field Office.

HMIS Technical Assistance

A Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) is a locally administered software application designed to record and store client-level information on the characteristics and service needs of homeless persons. HMIS administrators and Continuum of Care (CoC) leads can request HMIS technical assistance via HUD's Homelessness Resource Exchange (HRE).

HOME Technical Assistance

HOME Participating Jurisdictions (PJs) can submit requests for technical assistance on HOME by contacting their local HUD Field Office.

Homeless Assistance Programs Technical Assistance

HUD McKinney-Vento and HPRP grantees and CoCs can submit requests for technical assistance via HUD's Homelessness Resource Exchange.

HOPWA Technical Assistance

Client Assistance

Persons who need assistance should contact their local HOPWA provider.

Technical Assistance

The HRE provides HOPWA grantees interested in requesting technical assistance with contact information for their local HUD Field Office or HOPWA TA providers.

NSP Technical Assistance

The NSP Resource Exchange provides NSP grantees, subrecipients, consortium members, and other program affiliates the opportunity to submit requests for technical assistance.
